[beginners] might be useful for the select few that can see that they are and are looking for helpful info? Then again, maybe not ... I haven't really looked at all of those questions.

E.g. “what does `\newcommand do” elicits the answer “It defines an own macro” instead of a complex technical answer that explains its implementation in terms of TeX. | |

So, I still don't get it. For example, when is it OK to tag a question as beginners ?
