Moved to the main site Transparency and PDF: Wrong Colors (Buf / Feature Request) because of the comments.

There are some questions regarding rendering problems (color shifts) in Adobe Acrobat Reader when using transparency in tikz and friends or transparent PNGs.

The solutions look similar to

\pdfpageattr{/Group <</S /Transparency /I true /CS /DeviceRGB>>}

I have followed this for a couple of years (since I also had the same problem).

Do the LaTeX architects here plan to address this problem in future updates so that the "normal" user does not have to cope with this individually?

Here's a list of some of the resources I colleced and used in the past years:

I am not sure whether this question fits meta or not.

    I think this is not for Meta, but for the TeX.SE site, if at all. Basically, it is a feature request that is meant for the developers of the LaTeX/TeX core itself, e.g. LuaLaTeX etc. – user31729 Feb 26 '18 at 10:07
  • Thanks for sharing your evaluation. How do I transfer the question to the main site? – Dr. Manuel Kuehner Feb 26 '18 at 15:28
  • I've flagged for moderator attention in order to get the question migrated to TeX.SE (eventually) – user31729 Feb 26 '18 at 20:57

    As a bug report/feature request it doesn't really belong on TeX.SX at all, it should be addressed directly to the developers in question. – Torbjørn T. Feb 26 '18 at 21:10
  • @TorbjørnT. Thanks. Who would be the developers in question in this case? I was hoping that they read this. – Dr. Manuel Kuehner Feb 26 '18 at 21:33
  • I don't know actually, as I don't really know whose "fault" it is/where it should be fixed ... – Torbjørn T. Feb 26 '18 at 21:42
  • @TorbjørnT. Ok - this is also my problem. I would like to keep the question alive until we know who to address if that's ok with the close voters. – Dr. Manuel Kuehner Feb 26 '18 at 21:43

    Asking who to address such a request to might be OK on the main site, but regardless, it is not a question for Meta, as Christian said above. (And speaking of, the tags you chose are specifically for feature requests/bugs concerning this website, not LaTeX: meta.stackexchange.com/questions/47634/…) – Torbjørn T. Feb 26 '18 at 23:36
  • @TorbjørnT. I see. I thought the tags are about LaTeX - that's my confusion. Thanks for clarifying this. I also voted to close now. – Dr. Manuel Kuehner Feb 26 '18 at 23:38
